Pausing
- Monthly clients — pause with 14 days' notice. Your hire moves to another engagement during the pause; we can't guarantee the same person on resume but we'll try.
- Contract clients — pause with 30 days' notice. Contract clock does not extend during pause.
Common reasons to pause: seasonal slowdown, parental leave, fundraising crunch.
Cancelling
- Monthly clients — 14 days' notice, pro-rated refund for the unused portion.
- Contract clients — 30 days' notice, pro-rated. Remaining contract term is not billed.
